A Cozy, Snow-Flocked Farmhouse Christmas Tree
My absolute favorite piece of Christmas decor for our home each year is always the Christmas tree, and I'm so excited for y'all to see our new and beautiful, artificial Christmas tree from Christmas Central, a fun shop that offers a HUGE variety of unique Christmas decor, as well as a ton of other seasonal items! Our Christmas tree is specifically called the 9-foot, Pre-Lit Flocked, Victoria Pine Multi-Function LED Artifical Christmas Tree with remote control! With our tall ceilings (17 feet at the point in our great room!), we needed a tall tree that fit the bill for our new farmhouse, and this tree has done just that. We love it! Check out the gorgeous flocking on our tree in the pic below!
The flocking, which I've always wanted for our Christmas tree, is perfectly placed on each long-needle pine branch and doesn't leave much mess at all.
Here are some fun facts about our Christmas tree:
700 multi-function LED lights that are pre-strung
10 different light settings with an on/off foot pedal
has steady warm-white or steady multi-color light settings, as well as dual, color-changing light functions
62" wide at base
9-feet tall (from base of stand to top of tree)
We are very pleased with our tree and absolutely LOVE it!
After putting the tree together, I spent a little time shaping each branch...twisting and turning, fluffing and spiffing...each branch until it was just right, and it looks so pretty! I've always wanted a flocked tree, and this beauty is so perfect in our home. The snow-covered branches look very real, and because the tree is so full, I didn't feel the need to fill in any gaps with extra branches!
After the branches were styled to my liking, it was time to decorate the tree! I went with neutral decor, sticking with black and white colors, with a few wood tones. I also focused on mixing textures, such as birch bark, fabric, galvanized metal, jute trim, wood script and shatter-free glass balls. I tied a few long pieces of buffalo-checked ribbon on some of the branches and made a lot of the ornaments to cut costs. (More on those projects soon!). The tree collar was also a diy project, which I'll share in the next month!
